The staff at Voyager are always full of surprises but this one we can’t keep a secret for much longer – 2 of the team are going to ‘The BRITS’ and will be on the TV!
Voyager’s very own Gareth Jeune (Data Conversion & Report Team) and Andrea Day (Product Manager) have been playing a tune for many years and they’ve been recognised by the organisers of The BRITS as having exceptional talent – not that we didn’t know that anyway!
Gareth commented “Our Free Data Conversion offer runs until 1st May and so I’m busier than I’ve ever been - I’m not sure I’ll sound my best!! - but it sure will be great fun.”
Andrea was a little more upbeat “I can’t wait, it will be such a giggle. Concert bands typically play marches, overtures and classical tunes and so we’ll be doing something a little bit different. On the night we will be playing Bad Romance by Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson's Bad and a few Take That tunes!”
Andrea and Gareth's talents were spotted at a music festival in Hackney called “Field Day” and it's there the band was asked to do The BRITS.
